ANDREW W. GILCHRIST  focuses his practice upon environmental, land use and zoning, and municipal law. Andy has represented numerous clients before local, state and federal agencies in connection with project permitting and approvals, as well as in litigating such matters in state and federal courts. He has extensive experience in environmental and land use litigation, with an emphasis on matters pertaining to the New York State Environmental Quality Review Act and the Mined Land Reclamation Law.

Andy serves as counsel to the Town of Brunswick Planning Board and Zoning Board of Appeals, and as special counsel to the Town of Brunswick Town Board on land use matters. Andy also serves as Village Attorney for the Village of Hoosick Falls.

Andy is a graduate of Albany Law School and Siena College. He holds the highest peer-review rating from Martindale-Hubbell (A-V). He has authored several publications addressing environmental and zoning matters, and has served as an Adjunct Professor at Albany Law School of Union University, Albany, New York. Andy is a member of the New York State Bar Association.
